The Baja 1000 i s one of the more hardcore races out there to date. When I was a kid I always wanted to grow up and be a “Baja 1000 Racer”. I always thought it was cool how you can drive what ever you wanted to complete the 1000 mile race. The guys riding the motorcycles are crazy if you ask me. But anyone willing on committing themselves to this race across hells dessert for a thousand miles gets my hardcore tip O’ the hat. I get sick of driving after 20 miles, these guys must be hallucinating after they get around the finish line!

This beats out some race where you have to go around a track in circles all day. Wheres the fun if you can’t get lost. The iron asses of the Baja 1000 actually have to navigate. They also have to do their own repairs. They race through the night and there can be various types of booby traps along the course! Its kind of like Mad Max meets Nascar. These guys and gals race their balls off across no mans land for glory and I say this makes them awesome!
