Eating out and staying On the ball!
Worried about that lunch meeting with clients? Friends are going out to dinner and you don’t want to stay at home? Tired of cooking your own eggs for breakfast?
Eating out and staying on the ball is possible.
Feta & Roasted Vegetable Fritatta served with home fries…..I ordered No Feta and extra veggies and instead of home fries I asked for an avocado.
Roasted Veggie Salad
I asked the server what the dressing was that they sauteed the veggies in, and it was Olive Oil and Lemon Juice. No sugar! Bonus. It is hard to find a salad dressing that doesn’t have sugar…be careful.
Order a Burger, hold the bun, hold the cheese. Mine had grilled onion and jalepeno. All of their side options didn’t fit in my diet. Most burgers are served with tomato slices. So I asked for extra as my side and added avocado.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions even if you don’t see something on the menu! You can find something just about anywhere! For example, a mexican restaurant here in town also offers grilled veggies as your side instead of rice and beans. Is it a little harder to eat out than make your own food at home? Sure sometimes. But not impossible if you look at menus carefully! Dont let eating out with friends be an excuse to cheat. Just choose wisely, or eat a little at home before you go out so you aren’t still feeing hungry if your options are limited.
