Made this for some guests for the 4th of July.
Approved in moderation. Do not take this and make buckets of it to re-create a new way of getting dessert. All the ingredients are able to be eaten separately and enjoyed by themselves, but combining them is a new idea and way to experience them. Enjoy!
Delicious Treat: Caveman Custard
Here is an easy, quick, and delicious recipe that we’re sure you’ll love as a snack or dessert! If you would like yours sweeter, all you will need to do is add more bananas or try sprinkling in a few of your favorite seasonal fruits or berries! This recipe is about as simple as it gets. Full of protein, carbs and fat to fuel you for your active lifestyle!
1 can coconut milk (full fat recommended)
1/4 – 1/2 tsp vanilla
Cinnamon (to taste)
- Combine all ingredients except for cinnamon in a mixer and mix well.
- Pour into shallow pie dish or custard/ souffle cups (coffee cups or other oven safe containers work fine if you don’t have custard cups).
- Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees for approx 45 minutes. Custard will balloon a bit and you may see some liquid… its ok, it will work itself out.
- Serve and enjoy.
