Fireman Giving O2 To A Cat

Listening to the “old timers” around the firehouse tell their stories is both educational and fascinating. During the 80’s there was a fire epidemic in the whole country and it was one or two or three fires a shift. The stories they tell are about things like rescuing a trapped victim or how the fire was so hot that it melted the siding on the house across the street. One story I heard was that two guys searching an upper floor during a fire could hear a baby crying. When they followed the cries to the source they found a small cat! They almost didn’t think it was the cat making the crying sound because it sounded so human but it was! They brought the cat out and administered oxygen just like the firefighter above is doing.
